THE WORK MARKET
Is 'the set of mechanisms that regulate the encounter between job vacancies and persons seeking employment and are subject to the wage paid by firms to workers.
The labor market can be considerate both from a economic point of view that from a sociological point of view. The first approach is mainly based on the analysis of the market mechanism of supply / demand which regulates the employment exchange in a manner substantially similar to any other commodity, the sociological approach, however, focuses on the institutional mechanisms that regulate the employment exchange in specific geographical and historical contexts.
The offer is conditioned by:
a) aspirations of workers, the level of education and work culture.
b) The ability of workers to mobilize social resources and relationships.
c) Role of the family, in particular gender differences in the formation of the offer are crucial.
d) Constraints due to non-work responsibilities.

The question instead can be subject to constraints:
a) type of competitive positioning of firms.
b) Strategies for recruitment and personnel management choices by companies.
c) Shared representations regarding the role of specific categories of workers (eg. gender segregation and racial discrimination).
For a better definition is useful to classify the labor market:
a) the external market: is the real labor market on which they offer in competition with each other, people still employed or looking for a better place.
b) Internal market: defining the procedures within an organization to move employees from one place to another, and to establish career paths.
